Installers and selling solar with batteries

In 2025, 24% of integrators had already sold solar systems with batteries and a further 46% offered hybrid systems without having closed their first sale, according to the data cited in the publication, which now opens the Pesquisa GD 1S 2026 survey to measure the first half of this year.

The missing variable is the interval between the integrator's outlay and first revenue. ANEEL approved the regulation of Energy Storage Systems on 2 June 2026, closing Public Consultation 39/2023, and the full text of the resolution was still awaited by the market on 8 June, as recorded by Brasil BESS.

The gap between offering and selling is one of working capital. The battery raises the project value and the time stock is tied up, while closing depends on the customer calculating return under a rule still being consolidated. The integrator finances this interval with its own funds or with supplier credit.

What separates offer from sale in storage is the integrator's inventory turnover period.
