Luxembourg Hydrogen Valley at European Hydrogen Week

LuxHyVal announced it will present the Luxembourg Hydrogen Valley project at European Hydrogen Week 2026 in Brussels, from 26 to 30 October. According to the post, the booth will show its roadmap for green hydrogen production and integration in Luxembourg.

The project record in the Clean Hydrogen Partnership repository, consulted on 28 September 2026, sets out the financial dimension: a budget of 39.1 million euros, an EU contribution of 8 million, or 20.5%, execution from November 2023 to January 2029, and a consortium of 19 partners from seven countries.

About four fifths of the initial investment therefore comes from outside the European grant. The grant anchors the decision, but the capital is carried by the consortium companies and institutions, and the makeup of that group sets the pace of execution.

The same record projects 650 tonnes per year, 69% for mobility and 31% for industry. Demand allocated at the design stage is what gives a hydrogen valley a revenue base, and that is the figure the milestones through 2029 have to confirm.
