The post offers a PDF guide on the green hydrogen market, with an invitation to download a sample. It describes production by electrolysis powered by renewables and promises global and regional coverage. It is promotional material, so the market picture here comes from an independent source.

According to the IEA, in the Global Hydrogen Review 2026, Production section, installed electrolysis capacity worldwide doubled in 2025 to surpass 4 GW, with more than 2.5 GW under construction targeting operation in 2026.

The gap between announcement and decision is the business datum. The same section records that more than 100 GW of announced electrolysis capacity could lose any chance of being in operation by 2030 if investment decisions are not taken before the end of 2027.

For anyone assessing entry into the chain, project stage is the useful filter. Capacity under construction has a date; capacity merely announced has a shelf life, and 2027 is the marker separating the two groups.
